What is the difference between printed patches and embroidered patches?
Embroidered patches use colored thread stitched over a base fabric to form the design. They create a raised, textured surface and are durable but limited in color and detail. Printed patches apply your design directly to a flat fabric surface using dye or ink. Printed patches support unlimited colors, gradients, photographic images, and ultra-fine detail that embroidery cannot replicate. Embroidery is better for simple, bold designs that benefit from a classic raised look. Printed patches are better for complex, multi-color, or photographic artwork.
Are printed patches durable and washable?
Yes. Our printed patches are made to withstand regular machine washing at temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. We recommend washing on a gentle or permanent press cycle in cool to warm water and tumble drying on low. What file formats do you accept for printed patch artwork?

For raster files such as PNG and JPG, we require a minimum resolution of 300 DPI at the intended production size. If your artwork is low resolution or in a format you are unsure about, send it to us and our art team will review it and advise on the best path forward. Artwork review and conversion is provided free of charge.
How long does it take to produce and ship printed patches?
Standard production time is 7 to 10 business days from proof approval. Rush production is available in 3 to 5 business days for time-sensitive orders. Once produced, orders ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx with transit times of 2 to 5 business days depending on your location. We ship to all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and US military APO and FPO addresses. Same-day dispatch is available for select order sizes and rush programs.
Can you match my exact brand colors in the print?
Yes. We use Pantone color references to match brand color standards as closely as the printing process allows. When submitting your artwork, include your Pantone or CMYK color codes and our design team will calibrate the print to match them accurately. Please note that screen colors and printed colors may differ slightly due to the difference between RGB (screen) and CMYK (print) color spaces.
